GEST

Inspired by Detroit Techno, Acid House, and Brutalism, Berlin based GEST is blending other genres into Drum & Bass in a way that sets his hard-hitting industrial sound apart from the rest.

GEST has been turning heads in drum & bass, known for his masterful hold of versatility – able to produce some of the most impactful dancefloor orientated underground hitters whilst simultaneously skilled in writing smooth rollers dripped in soul.

2024 saw the release of GEST’s largest project to date in the form of a 6 track EP on Shogun Audio titled ‘Superstructure’, as well as a feature on the 20 years of Shogun compilation project, remixing ‘Subwav’s iconic ‘Think’ track. In Shogun’s review of Superstructure, they reflected that ‘GEST put the spotlight on what they do best on this perfectly crafted underground, dancefloor-oriented heater.’

The last few years have seen GEST undertake a healthy touring schedule across clubs and festivals in the EU such as Tomorrowland, Let It Roll and Rampage, alongside touring Australia and New Zealand, and running the ‘GEST Invites’ club night series in Berlin.
